What is The Forge Project?
The Forge Project is a life skills programme designed to equip teenagers with mindset, habits, and confidence that traditional schools often overlook.
Who is this course for?
It is aimed at teens aged 13 to 18 who are ready to grow, reflect, and take control of their future. We welcome all backgrounds and personalities.
Is it only for boys?
The current programme is tailored for boys, but we are working on a version for girls as well. Our content is adaptable and inclusive.
What will my child actually learn?
They will explore topics like self identity, goal setting, communication, resilience, emotional control, and how to navigate real life situations with confidence.
Is this religious or political in any way?
No. The Forge is secular and neutral. It is focused on personal development, not ideology.
How is the course delivered?
The course is delivered in person through guided workshops, interactive discussions, real challenges, and team-based activities.
How long is the course?
The full programme runs over several weeks, with flexible session formats depending on the school term or holiday schedule.
Is there homework?
There are optional exercises and challenges to do between sessions, but no traditional homework. It is more about reflection and real world application.
Is this therapy or counselling?
No. While some content is reflective and supportive, The Forge is not therapy or counselling. It is coaching, mentoring, and skills training.
Who leads the sessions?
Trained facilitators with experience in youth development, education, and leadership guide the sessions. All are vetted and committed to helping young people grow.
Can parents attend or observe?
Parents will be invited to specific overview sessions or wrap ups, but the course itself is designed to be a space where teens can speak openly and grow independently.
What outcomes should we expect?
Greater self awareness, confidence, resilience, stronger communication, and a sense of purpose. Many teens also report improved behaviour and motivation.
Is there a certificate or qualification?
There is. At the end of the programme, participants receive a certificate of completion and a feedback report that outlines their growth.optional exercises and challenges to do between sessions, but no traditional homework. It is more about reflection and real world application.
What if my child is shy or not confident?
That is exactly who The Forge is built for. We create a safe, supportive space where teens are not judged and can build confidence gradually.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on location and format. Please contact us directly for the latest options.
Where is the course held?
We run courses in select schools, community centres, and training venues. We also offer private group sessions.
